MY STUDIO IS OPEN WITH THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOLS FOR SAFETY IN PLACE. IN GENERAL, I HAVE A VERY STRICT POLICY REGARDING ANY SIGNS OF ILLNESS, REGARDLESS OF HOW SLIGHT. STUDENTS NEED TO RESCHEDULE THEIR WEEKLY LESSON IF THEY HAVE ANY SIGNS OF ILLNESS. REGARDING SAFETY DURING THE PANDEMIC AND FLU SEASON IN GENERAL, THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS/PROTOCOLS ARE IN PLACE AND STRICTLY FOLLOWED: - ENTIRE STUDIO SPACE IS AIRED OUT AND SANITIZED BEFORE AND AFTER EACH STUDENT. I'M ONLY TEACHING 2 STUDENTS PER DAY. - TEMPERATURE CHECK FOR EVERYONE COMING IN FOR LESSONS. FOR EVERY STUDENTS' PROTECTION, STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK, AND/OR FACE SHIELD DURING THEIR LESSON AS WELL AS WASH THEIR HANDS THOROUGHLY WHEN ENTERING. FACE SHIELDS ARE PROVIDED FOR EACH STUDENT. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL WITH ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE ABOUT THE POLICY I HAVE PUT IN PLACE. Location: By Aloha HS Students of all ages are welcome. Beginners, intermediate and advanced singers will benefit from lessons which focus on building/using proper vocal technique, i.e. proper use of breath, relaxation, articulation in languages, phrasing, stage presence/persona and much more. Workshops and recitals are offered at least once a year. Criteria for acceptance are that students are serious about singing and are consistent in coming to their weekly lessons. Good, sound vocal technique will give singers, whether professional, semi professional, student beginners or student intermediate/advanced, the ability to safely use their voices as instruments of artistic beauty and communication as well as the ability to sing any style of music. With solid vocal technique, the singer will never experience major vocal problems and will be protecting their voice for a lifetime. I consider it a privilege to teach and welcome the opportunity to help anyone interested in developing their singing voice.
