Need help 8-5 M-F, 1-5 (afternoon) Saturdays and Sundays.. Will provide ice cold water and Gatorade throughout the day as well as Subway lunch, free of charge on weekdays only. No lunch provided on weekends as we just work 1-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays. I will run to grab lunch on weekdays so you can just work. You need to provide your own transportation at your own expense that is in good working order. It’s a plus if you have a full size pickup truck or a 10 foot U Haul for hauling away junk to City of Huntsville Landfill. — Hi, am retired Navy moving to a 2 story townhome in Madison. Served as a Navy Officer during the War on Terror and Uncle Sam is moving me in to my house in Madison. Paying CASH or Venmo upon completion, though you will have to follow me to my bank’s ATM in your car after we are done, so Venmo is easier if you have that. You need to be able to find your way to my house if I text you my address and Google Maps link and be right on time, punctual, so we aren’t wasting time. Looking for strong persons and persons who pride themselves on their work and have INTEGRITY — who will show up if they say that they will, and be on time and not skip out to another job when they commit to working mine — those who show up and be my extra pairs of arms and strong backs during the move-in process will be treated with respect and dignity by me. Doing moving in and remodeling my house all at the same time. It’s a big job that needs a whole crowd of people just swarming it. Need a helpers/personal day laborers (2 or 3) to help me with my move. Work is from 8am-5pm today, for 2-3 days in a row. Best if you have a team. I will only pay one flat day rate that is for the total of the team. I’m single and moving into a big town house, so I need helpers. Need furniture unwrapped (movers wrapped my sofa in bubble wrap and packing tape, for example), need unassembled new furniture assembled and installed, need pictures hung, need TVs mounted. Need big items carried. Need you to also provide skilled assistance to hired remodeling technicians (plumbers, electricians) that I hire separately. Need you to bring sturdy fasteners for wall hangings and pictures. Some of them are big and heavy. We will need to use studs if possible. I have a stud finder. You must supply all the required tools and it also helps if you have assorted fasteners to use so we can cut down on Lowe’s trips. Not a must but I do suggest you wear suspenders/bib overalls, some of them have that little apron as well. I love bib overalls for work because they can get dirty and they have lots of pockets. I also have several pieces of brand new store bought furniture and chandeliers and they should have all required parts but you know how sometimes there are fasteners missing. You need to bring all required x-acto knives and box cutters. BE CAREFUL, don’t scratch the furniture while you’re cutting the box open! Safety first. I have a 8-foot stepladder and a step stool. However the site is a private home and as the homeowner I do not carry any workman’s comp insurance. Work at my site is at your own risk and I expect everyone to be safe. Most of the work is inside - I have a two car garage that is being used as a staging area. You must be fine with working in the rain. I do not stop the job for inclement weather except if there is lightning. But even then we have plenty to do inside. Then furniture has to be moved inside the house, it’s 2 stories, and then cleanup has to be done. Need other furniture assembled and my house set up. Need help ASAP with this, on 20 July and 21 July. Quote me the day rate for your whole team. I will pay only by PayPal or Venmo upon completion of each day of labor. Will also need help this coming weekend, both Saturday and Sunday. I have a dog. His name is Bruce, and he is a 85 pound Black Lab mix who is a real sweetheart. He will be tied up in the yard but he will want you to pet him.
