In need of a skilled handyman to maintain residential properties in the Hampton Roads area (Peninsula and Southside) and limited needs at an office building. Must have own transportation (truck or van) and tools. Majority of work will include performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks, both inside and outside, of rental residential properties. Properties may be single family, townhomes, or condos. Typical work for maintenance as well as unit turn overs is required. Work may include painting, wall repair, appliance repair, plumbing, carpentry, and other related skills. Some amount of grounds work (cutting grass at vacant units, etc.) and custodial work (cleaning out vacant units, cleaning carpets at vacant units, etc.) may also be required. Most work is expected to take place at units on the Southside, mainly in the Virginia Beach area—but may also include Hampton area. Candidates must be in good health, non-smoker, and be able to lift up to 70 pounds—as well as pass a background investigation.
