Great FT Position: Apartment Manager and Maintenance

Taybin Terrace Apartments offer spacious one and two bedroom apartment homes in Salem, Oregon. The management team or person will work 40 hours per week out of the separate rental office to cover a variety of duties that include receiving and depositing rent, responding to maintenance requests, enforcing apartment and management policies, maintaining the grounds, and being available to respond to emergencies for the 47 apartment homes. The following skills and experience are strongly preferred or required: Marketing - * Experience in retail/sales. * On-line marketing experience. * Enjoy working with people. * Available to work Saturday & Sunday. * Knowledge of and ability to adhere to Fair Housing. Maintenance - * Have at least 1 yr apartment maintenance experience or equivalent is preferred. * Be willing and able to paint/clean/repair apartments at turnover or oversee vendors, if necessary, * Must be able to push/pull 70 lbs. * Maintain exceptional curb appeal by picking up the grounds twice daily. Office/Accounting - * Having experience in apartment management is strongly preferred, but we will train the right candidate. * Education minimum of high school diploma/GED. * Must have strong mathematical skills. * Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. * Have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Taybin Terrace is looking for an experienced management and maintenance person or team who present an enthusiastic and professional demeanor. A generous compensation is offered in exchange for the 40/hrs a week and includes $1099. rent credit for the spacious 2 bd 1 ba apartment plus a salary of $2600/month. In addition there are reimbursements for expenses for gasoline $25, and cell phone $50.
