An adult scavenger hunt through the streets of Cedarburg, Conquer the Burg will challenge your minds, bodies, and even bellies! Following the format of CBS’s “Amazing Race,” Conquer the Burg will challenge your minds, bodies, and even bellies!!!   The race will benefit the Cedarburg Parks & Recreation Department . Cedarburg’s Conquer the Burg will require teams to race around and through Cedarburg on a mission of completing a series of urban challenges at local businesses or non-profits.  Prizes for top three teams, best costumes, etc.    All proceeds this year go towards the upcoming All Children's Playground renovation in the City of Cedarburg! Cedarburg Friends of Parks & Recreation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization that is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable, educational and benevolent purposes including, more specifically, to help with the development and financing of the Cedarburg Pool, Parks and Recreation programs, and Senior Services.   In order to accomplish the foregoing charitable, educational and benevolent purposes, the corporation shall conduct, but not be limited to, the following activities: Soliciting financial support for the Parks and Recreation programs and the facilities of the Cedarburg community; Hosting special events to raise funds; Working with the Cedarburg community to develop additional opportunities for the entire community; Educating the public on the importance of a public swimming pool.
