What is Ride & Decide Information Night?Ride & Decide Information Night is an opportunity for students along with their parents to learn more about Frasier's Ride & Decide Program. A week long apprenticeship program designed to introduce students to a career in the trades. We know that careers in the trades are often over looked. We know students often believe the only post high school option is traditional college. We also know, many students are unaware of how rewarding careers in the trades can be. Personally and financially. These are jobs that will never go away and never be outsourced. Jobs in the skilled trades are in high demand. The health and safety of our community depends on the people who bring safe water to our homes, remove unhealthy waste, keep us warm in winter, cool in summer, keep the lights turned on our electricity flowing. You'll hear from others working in your field of interest. You'll get to tour the shop, warehouse and trucks that service technicians call their office. We'll answer all your questions and you'll have the opportunity to apply for one of 5 spots in our August 16-20th Ride & Decide Program. Students Accepted Into The Program Will:Spend 5 days exploring all areas of a home services business - Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Warehouse, Dispatching, Customer Care and more. Spend time on the job riding with service technicians as they take care of our customers homes. Assist technicians on the job and learn value life skills.Be treated as and be a paid employee of Frasier's for the period of the program. Information Night will include an introduction to the 5-day Ride & Decide Program. Company tour, and introduction to job opportunities in the trades. We will also have a time for questions.
