What is a legal guardian for a child? A legal guardian is someone you name to step in and care for your child if you can't be there. Naming legal guardians is an essential tool for all parents and protects children by reducing stress and confusion in an emergency and making sure your kids are cared for by the people you know and trust if you can't be there. During this workshop, you'll learn the step-by-step process for how to choose the right guardian, plus the Top 10 Mistakes most parents make when choosing a guardian and what to do instead. All adult attendees can create their own valid guardianship document. Free coffee and bagels for attendees. Seating is limited.
