DEATH PARADE The name “Death Parade” comes from the celebration of this life, the long parade to the end, as roses in bloom to be dried and hung still forever, a memory of the existence of beauty. Songwriter Laura Hopkins, (formally from Blackwater Holylight and Laura Palmer’s Death Parade) dives into heartache and grief as regular as one’s day-to-day, with songs of longing and deep loss. Their newest album to be released TBA—steps through the events of 2020: the fires, the war, the plague, isolation, grief, and the before times; back when love was abundant and life seemed grand, masking the darkness behind closed doors and late nights. Death Parade is Laura Hopkins (guitar and vocals), Eirinn Lou Riggs (synth and guitar), Danny Metcalfe (bass), and Robert Grubaugh (drums). Fluttering from finger-picked guitar to doomy fuzz and dreamy synth, Death Parade guides you from one song to the next, reflecting Portland, Oregon’s environment of roses, rain and “riots”—weaving harmonies together for a melancholic mixture of ache and celebratory joy. RAYON Portland, Oregon’s Rayon (formerly "Miss Rayon") is the creation of Detroit/Flint Michigan native, Eric Sabatino. Residing somewhere on the spectrum between New York no wave and Manchester post-punk, one can hear influences as broad as Sonic Youth, Yoko Ono, ESG and Magazine.

 Rayon released their debut full length record, Eclipse, November 2018 on Portland's XRAY Records.
 A series of singles was released during Spring of the 2020 Covid-19 quarantine, and a second full-length record, Colour, will be released this winter on Little Cloud Records.
