Tamil writer Jeyamohan has finished writing his novel series titled “Venmurasu” (The White Drum) on July 16, 2020. Readers of Venmurasu have created a 90 minutes documentary as a tribute to Venmurasu, to celebrate the astonishing achievement of writer Jeyamohan. Actor Kamal Hassan, Maestro Ilayaraja, Director Vasantha Balan, Tamil Writers - A.Muthulingam, Nanjil Nadan, Su.Venugopal, Paavannan and readers of Venmurasu have shared their views on Venmurasu. The documentary also includes an operatic poem composed by Musician Rajan Somasundaram of North Carolina using verses from "Neelam" novel of Venmurasu sung by Kamal Hassan, Saindavi, Sriram Parthasarathy in collaboration with North Carolina Symphony.
