Join the Farm Alliance of Baltimore’s Black Butterfly Urban Farmer Academy for an on farm field day! This field day will be hosted at Strength to Love II Farm and instructed by licensed plumber and farmer Antonio Rivera and FAB’s Deputy Director, Denzel Mitchell. Both Antonio and Denzel have farmed at Strength to Love II and have helped install many farm irrigation systems over the years. This field day will cover the basics of irrigation installation and usage. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the various styles of irrigation utilized at Strength to Love II and hear from these experts about water installation for urban farming operations. This is a free outdoor, in-person workshop. Pre registration is required so we can plan accordingly. We suggest that attendees wear closed-toed shoes and clothes you won't mind getting dirty. Be sure to bring a water bottle! There will be a hand washing station on site, as well as extra masks and hand sanitizer. Parking: Street parking Restrooms: There are restrooms on site Questions?
