There’s finally a light at the end of the very long and dark COVID-19 pandemic tunnel, which is a huge relief. Post Pandemic Exhale (and Inhale) with Drew and Sherry Presenter: Drew Ebersole and Sherry Hammond Date: Friday, August 13, 2021 Location: Charles Wright Academy, Patio Near the Playground Time: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Cost: $10 for members, $20 for nonmembers Lunch: Boxed lunches available for purchase to enjoy after the program - $12 Program Description: It’s time to reflect on what we’ve learned during this extremely challenging year, and decide what we want our new normal to look like. What have you discovered about yourself, about how you work best, and about how you’ve adapted/learned to be the best version of yourself? How can you use these experiences to define what you want post-pandemic life to look like – and the new story you want to create about yourself and your work. During this workshop, you’ll learn to: Exhale the wastefulness of rumination and worry, and apply tools to help shift into greater presence, confidence and wellbeing. Inhale the freshness of being alive in the moment and applying the best of who you are each dayEmbody the power to create and live the story we wish to tell – what will you let go of, and what will you embrace? About the Presenters: Drew Ebersole is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach and a member of the International Coach Federation. He has extensive coaching experience, along with expertise in mindfulness practices and teaching. Drew’s mindfulness and resilience training and teaching has spanned over 15 years. He specializes in a deep understanding of the practices and how to make them practical and impactful in everyday life and work. Drew earned his B.A. in Liberal Arts and received post-graduate training in marriage and family counseling. Before launching Accel 180, he most recently served as Director of Patient Experience for a major health care system in Washington State, and Executive Director for a non-profit foundation. Drew was a professional actor for over 15 years in New York City and Los Angeles, appearing in films, television and on stage. His acting experience helps inform his coaching work, as he encourages clients to face their fears, live into their personal truth, and learn to be completely present in each moment. A relatable, compelling, and truly inspirational speaker, Drew shares his story of recovering from brain surgery and the rich learnings and practices that can authentically help transform your life. He has a unique and powerful way of connecting with and shifting audiences’ hearts and minds. Drew is a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum. He measures success by the level of positive, sustainable meaningful impact he has on the lives of those he serves. He is a life-long learner and has learned that his challenges can be a source of energy. Sherry Hammond is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach and a member of the International Coach Federation. She was a health care administrator at one of the largest health care systems in Washington State, where she led patient experience and employee wellness initiatives, nutrition services and other hospital departments. Sherry has a passion for coaching with all levels of leaders and clinicians to unleash their true potential. She helps her clients strengthen self-awareness and confidence, reframe perspectives that are not serving them, enhance their team building skills and develop personal practices to help them thrive in life. Over the past several years, Sherry has been practicing mindfulness techniques through participation in the Jon Kabat-Zinn Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program, mindfulness retreats, and curriculum training course work for Mindful Schools. As part of coaching and training, Sherry incorporates the neuroscience and impacts of mindful, positive approaches to enhance leadership performance, wellbeing, and overall appreciation and presence in life. Sherry earned a B.S. in Food Science and Nutrition, is a Registered Dietitian, and has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Sherry is a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum of Pierce County, a Board member and past President of Safe Streets, and past board member for All As One, a children’s center in Sierra Leone, Africa.
