Join us to celebrate the best of the beauty industry with the 2021 Northwest Hairstyling Awards! Following a two-year hiatus, the Northwest Hairstyling Awards will be returning October 17, 2021. We are celebrating our sixth year of the Northwest Hairstyling Awards by expanding our nominating process to salons in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota and Washington. Awards will be given in eight nominated categories as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award will be given to Gene Juarez. We will also be presenting Philip Carreon with the Inspiring Icon Award. Each year, we have attracted increased attention to our region from national beauty industry leaders. All proceeds from this year’s event will go to support a local nonprofit. Finalists have been chosen from recommendations by industry leaders in the Pacific Northwest based on submissions from professionals throughout the region. Winners will be chosen through a judging process including international experts in the fashion and hair industry and will be announced at the awards ceremony. This year’s award show and celebration will be scaled back from previous events with mindfulness around COVID-19. The Northwest Hairstyling Awards will feature several fashion showcases from industry leaders from around the country. Additionally, we will present the sixth Gary Howse Heart & Hands Award, created to honor industry leaders who demonstrate both technical excellence as well as philanthropy. Debuting in Seattle's Belltown early 2014, Vann.Edge is a Eufora concept salon offering a full menu of hair and makeup services, along with the latest in Eurfora's signature brand products. The Vann.Edge presence in Seattle also features an award­ winning hair design team directed by Lisa Vann. Vann.Edge Salon is open Tuesday through Sunday and appointments are highly encouraged.
