SBDC will help members develop a mini business plan called the Business Model Canvas
RSVP by Friday, August 6th
Session 1: 9:30 am - 11:00 am
Session 2: 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
The Vt Small Business Development Center (VtSBDC) is partnering with WBON to offer members marketing and business help, as part of a federal grant for southwestern Vermont to include Rutland and Bennington counties. SBDC will help members develop a mini business plan called the Business Model Canvas in the session, followed by the opportunity to work with a marketing consultant on a Marketing Plan.
VtSBDC’s Business Advisor, Nancy Shuttleworth, will offer two sessions on the Business Model Canvas, which can be described as a mini-business plan used to help clients understand their business. The Business Model Canvas is a visual, hands-on “canvas” or document, comprised of 9 components, to describe how your business or organization creates, delivers, and captures value. During the session, the business owner will have the opportunity to create their own canvas.
Upon completion of the Business Model Canvas, a follow-up meeting will be scheduled with a marketing consultant to get started on a media audit and marketing plan.
There will be two sessions for the Business Model Canvas, and registration is required. RSVP by August 6th.
