Virginia Beach Funk Fest Beach Party has brought the “funk” to the oceanfront for the past 12 years. For 12 years the Virginia Beach Funk Fest Beach Party has brought the “funk” to the oceanfront for two days of electrifying music, great food, and unique vendors. Music is the heart and soul of the festival, to be held on the beach at 24th Street Friday- Saturday, August 27-28. This festival is rain or shine. The Preferred Viewing ticket is a two-day pass providing a closer viewing area (patrons bring their own beach chairs), dedicated portable restrooms, and a cash bar. Preferred Viewing admission is guaranteed, while general admission is limited and strictly first-come, first-served. Preferred viewing guests enter at 24th Street Park. General admission guests enter at 26th Street on the beach. Preferred Viewing tickets will go on sale on Friday, July 9th at 10:00am ET. Every patron must have a ticket. This year’s festival will be held on a different site on the beach at 24th Street. New Virginia Beach event guidelines designed to provide a safe festival-going experience include 2 designated entry gates, limited boardwalk access, and limited crowd capacity. Know Before You Go!
