We are hoping to partner with you this year as a sponsor or guest of the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton’s first Annual SPARK event. Dear Dayton Community Partner, We would like the opportunity to partner with your company to sponsor the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton’s first Annual SPARK event, to be held on Thursday, October 14, from 5 to 8 PM, at The Tank inside the Dayton Arcade. At the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton, we are on a mission to close the STEM gap for our kids by building their interest in STEM-related careers and developing vital and necessary skills and knowledge. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to SPARK more great futures for the kids of west Dayton. Why should you sponsor this event? Why Now? This past year has been challenging for everyone, but especially so for many kids like those served by the Boys & Girls Club of Dayton (BGCD), who are already at a disadvantage and facing significant barriers to various resources. Between COVID and the elimination of much-needed programs, the STEM “gap” is widening for those youth who reside in areas without access to programs that build the skills required for these jobs. Our BGCD members are traditionally underserved and have little exposure to STEM careers and opportunities. With your sponsorship and support, we can increase STEM fluency and interest, regardless of a child’s location or socio-economic background. What is the Return on Investment? We are a catalyst for change. We are delivering high quality STEM education and we are ready to expand our programs to serve more kids. Together, we can close the STEM opportunity gap. We can only do it with your help!
