A gathering and celebration of System Administrators and other technical professionals Join your fellow technology professionals to celebrate System Administrator Appreciation Day with LOPSA Columbus and DevOps Columbus. We will have food, libations, and some of the best folks in cbus! We're looking forward to celebrating once again with all of you at Little Rock Bar in downtown Columbus. The event officially begins at 6pm. Technology professionals of varied backgrounds are warmly welcomed. Past attendees have included Database Administrators, Security Engineers, Solutions Architects, Software Engineers, Network Engineers, Technology Managers, Technology Executives, and many others -- all are welcome to come show appreciation for the technology professionals who work in Infrastructure and Operations. Membership in LOPSA is not required to attend. COVID Safety: As many of our members indicated was important to them, we will be gathering outdoors this year. We will be in an area that should have limited traffic other than System Admin Day attendees and Little Rock personnel. We ask that you follow all CDC guidance, including skipping the event if you are feeling ill or have a fever. While the organization focuses on furthering the profession of infrastructure and operations, we welcome technology professionals of all sorts including non-members. Past attendees including executives and managers as well as tech pros of all sorts including security, database, software, storage, network, and infrastructure. We favor topics and subject matter that is leading change and driving innovation across industries. Past topics have included devops culture, web operations, application architecture for scale, project management, data center design, career management, database automation, container orchestration, systems automation, programming, site reliability engineering, and many others.
