Radical Inclusion Fashion Performance ft. Rebirth Garments The Stimmy Soirée is one part dance party and another fashion performance. Join us as we celebrate Chicago-based designer Sky Cubacub and their clothing line, Rebirth Garments. Don't miss your chance to experience their collection of "gender non-conforming wearables and accessories centering Non-binary, Trans, Disabled and Mad Queers of all sizes and ages!" The Soirée's fashion event will feature local models dancing in custom, handmade garments designed specifically to serve their physical and social needs. Witness how precise garment construction can meet various accessibility needs, and in this instance, also the aesthetic preferences of the models. Through dancing, models illustrate how the garments support their mobility and their freedom to celebrate the truest version of themselves. Will you be there? LOCATION: LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, 6705 Detroit Ave, Cleveland, OH 44102 On Friday, August 6, 2021, the show will occur in the parking lot behind the LGBT Community Center. Following the performance, audience members are welcome to join the models for a dance party, shifting how we think about fashion. Join us, be a part of transforming style into a statement that amplifies radical inclusion. Your presence matters! The fashion performance features a set by DJ Red Eye. Attendance is limited, and advance registration is required. Masks are required, regardless of vaccination status. Tables with resources from community partners, as well as a vaccination pop-up, will be onsite.
