Join us in learning about the challenges and opportunities in the ongoing fight for equity in Somerville. Please join us at CultureHouse HQ for a screening of Somerville for All, a short documentary on the housing affordability crisis in Somerville, followed by a discussion with leaders of the Somerville Community Corporation about the challenges and opportunities in the ongoing fight for equity in Somerville. CultureHouse is an urban design nonprofit that transforms vacant storefronts into vibrant arts and culture spaces. This event will be taking place at our HQ that hosts our fabrication shop, office space, and urban design test kitchen. The event is hosted by the Somerville Community Corporation (SCC). SCC is a membership organization that provides leadership for sustaining the City of Somerville as a vibrant, diverse and tolerant community. They offer services and lead community organizing that supports low- and moderate-income Somerville residents in their efforts to achieve economic sustainability and increase civic participation. *masks are optional for vaccinated people and required for unvaccinated people* Check out the documentary trailer below...
