Pacific Panel Cleaners LLC is the leading solar maintenance company in the Hawaiian Islands! We are now hiring full-time Field Service Technicians on Maui! We have been in business 12 years strong and are not going anywhere anytime soon. There are many competitors sprouting up from the brush in this progressing and lucrative industry and we are looking for the right person and team player to help us continue to succeed! We are a growing company, and we do all kinds of work in the photovoltaic maintenance industry. As we operate in the energy sector, this is essential work! The need for energy is not going anywhere, and our company is committed to helping our customers get the very most out of their solar investments! We are willing to train you from the ground up. We strongly believe that specialized skills can be learned, but the same cannot be said for a strong work ethic, intuition, and desire to succeed. We are looking for someone who:  Takes initiative, sees what needs to be done and strives to take care of it.  Has the ability to ask when they need help. We are a team; you are not on your own!  Is a strong communicator, keeping open lines of communication with our team is how we work efficiently!  Has an attention to detail, would notice small discrepancies that other people normally would see right past!  Has patience, as there are always unpredictable roadblocks that come up along the way, and we need someone who has a patient, calm and collected demeanor that can think calmly and critically to work through them!  Has an inclination for technology. Much of the work we do is with solar inverter equipment and if you have a fundamental understanding of computers and electrical components, you will learn quickly.  Is accountable. It is important to understand that if you make a mistake, the way to grow in a company is to own up to it, not blame someone else or otherwise evade responsibility.  Has time organizational skills.  Has the desire to grow and improve!  Has a strong work ethic and is a team player!  Has the ability to juggle multiple projects throughout a given workweek/month. This is a unique opportunity to learn a specialized and desirable skillset in an ever-growing and lucrative industry! We will teach you all you need to know. Safety procedures, rules and regulations, fundamentals of a PV system, and more. We do work on many different photovoltaic system types, including microinverter, string/central inverter, and optimizer systems. We will teach you everything that you are willing to learn.
