You are going back to school, and IMPACT 2021 has you covered! This is a DRIVE-THRU EVENT. Families in Newport News are invited to attend IMPACT 2021, the annual back to school event, August 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It is a free event for students K-12 and their families to assist with getting essential items for the upcoming school year. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s event will be a drive-thru event. Families must pre-register for the event and select a time slot to arrive. Registered attendees can drive thru and pick up a free backpack stuffed with school supplies and more. You don't even have to get out of your vehicle! * Masks are required. We care about our families & their safety. Please be sure to wear your mask during the drive thru. * All adults must have their child(ren) present in the vehicle in order to receive a backpack. *Supplies are limited* REGISTRATION Registration is required to attend. Please select the time you would like to arrive at IMPACT 2021. Due to the drive thru nature of this year's IMPACT 2021 event and the traffic involved, you MUST adhere to the time you choose. Capacity to serve cars will be limited. *Please register for only 1 time slot. The ticket quantity must equal the amount of children attending.
