Meet the next generation of engineers and innovators! Junior and Senior engineering teams demonstrate and share their product designs. Join us for the 2021 Engineering Design Showcase! This year's event will feature over 80 student engineering teams presenting the results of their research and product development. The event is an annual tradition and a great opportunity to engage in face-to-face dialogue with students of all engineering disciplines and interact with their designs and ideas. Projects will also be displayed on the web at wit.edu for those unable to attend the live event. Tuesday, August 10th 4pm-6pm Watson Auditorium Projects include both independent and industry-sponsored projects, many of which are interdisciplinary in nature. Some titles this year include “Celestial Succulents: Using plants to put pollution detection in the hands of the people!” “Water Power Generator: Using rain run-off to generate and store electricity as a potential source for small applications,” “Workplace Environment Control: Personalized HVAC control settings for office environments.” Parking will be available and signage will direct guests to the event. Covid-19 Guidance and Guidelines Masks required for all participants regardless of vaccination statusStudents, Faculty, and Staff are in Compliance on CoVerifiedOutside guests are asked to monitor symptoms in the days leading up to the event and are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated, and to get a COVID-19 test before coming to campus.
