Description
The Boulder Bandshell roars to life for an epic evening of performances from some of Colorado’s most sought-after bands! Arts for All! Boulder Library Foundation and PLAY Boulder Foundation are proud to present accessible tickets to patrons. Arts in the Park was created to reactivate the City’s local arts and culture organizations, and Boulder’s Civic Area, after the devastating effects of COVID-19 on the performing arts community. If you have the means, we encourage you to purchase tickets. We know that the challenges presented by the health pandemic were not limited to just the arts community. To ensure that this year’s inaugural program is accessible to all, the Boulder Library Foundation and PLAY Boulder Foundation are proud to offer FREE tickets to Boulder community members who are experiencing financial hardship. 25 tickets are available per performance, minimum of 1, maximum of 4 tickets per household per performance. On Friday, August 5h, the Boulder Bandshell roars to life for an epic evening of performances from some of Colorado’s most sought-after bands: Flash Mountain Flood, Kind Hearted Strangers, and Kingdom Jasmine. Dubbed the Boulder Bandshell Revival, this unforgettable evening is made possible by a grassroots collaboration between the City of Boulder, Can’d Aid, Loose Leaf Talent Agency, Jamcast, and Concertize - a Boulder-based company which connects musicians, venues, and production talent to make more music happen in more places. Tickets include admission to the bandshell, where audiences will groove to 5 hours of live music, drink beer from sponsoring partner Oskar Blues Brewery, and chow down on food from locally-adored food trucks. The event is open to all ages. All tickets are general admission. Doors Open at 4:30PM Guests must be 21 or older to consume alcohol on the premises and an ID is required for any and all alcohol purchases. Since 1974, the Boulder Library Foundation has been enriching the Boulder Public Library experience by providing funding for literacy, cultural, and creative programs, not covered by the City of Boulder’s budget. Our Library is the cornerstone of our community. And programs are the cornerstone of our Library. By funding programs like BLDG 61 Makerspace, Lego Story Club, and Computer Science Education Week, the Boulder Library Foundation is working to ensure our Library’s remarkable work continues far into the future.
