Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. is holding its annual Harvest Pancake Celebration Day on Saturday, October 23rd, beginning at 8:00am. Greensboro Farmers Market, Inc. is holding its annual Harvest Pancake Celebration Day on Saturday, October 23rd, beginning at 8:00am at the Curb Market. Guest chefs Alex and Tim Amoroso of Cheesecakes by Alex will serve their famous light and fluffy seasonal Fall Harvest inspired pancakes. Patrons can choose from Pumpkin Pecan and Apple Cinnamon pancakes topped with butter and syrup for a $10 donation per plate. Neese’s sausage patty can be added for an additional $2. Tickets to reserve your plate and pick up time are available at Saturday/Wednesday markets. Enjoy free family-friendly activities and music by John Stevens “Sentimental Johnny” 8:30-11:00am on the Lindsay event lawn. The bounty of Autumn arrivals will be available across the market including locally grown pumpkins, gourds and heritage apples, seasonal pies, fruit butters, and Fall potted plants. Picnic seating available, and seating in the Market Cafe, bring chairs or blankets if you like. Market fundraiser events are first-come, first-served, and while supplies last. Fundraiser Event proceeds provide vital funds for market hunger relief programs.
