Please join us in a convivial setting at the UUU Art Collective, Art will be on display; free yummies from Peppa Pot. Beer, wine at cost. Let's celebrate! Please join us for our first "in body" event since Feb. 2020. We have lots to be joyful about. Rochester has experienced its share of pain and suffering. Yet, we have come together as a community, compiling countless stories of humanity, generosity and decency. RocGrowth is a community. And, our tent has expanded during the past 18 months. Our mission is to empower New Rochester and we have been emboldened by welcoming legions of new members from our bountiful creative class . Please join us in a convivial setting on Thurs., July 29th (6-8pm) at the UUU Art Collective, 157 State Street. Art will be on display; yummies from Peppa Pot (Jamaican) Restaurant are complementary; and beer, wine and beverages will be available at reasonable cost. Join us for a magical evening of "Creative Collisions." We request that you RSVP since fire marshal restrictions will be upheld. In other words, space is limited. RocGrowth is a grassroots, volunteer organization with 2,400 members founded in 2013.  Its mission is to: Empower the New RochesterRocGrowth aims to identify, support and build community for the new generation of leaders, as Rochester regains its rightful place among prominent progressive and prospering cities.Showcase our communities leading innovators and entrepreneursRocGrowth aims to publicize motivational stories from the individuals who represent our enormous talent pool.Instigate “creative collisions”RocGrowth aims to break down barriers and create opportunities for interpersonal interaction, encouraging fellowship and pride in belonging to the Rochester community.Promote social equityRocGrowth aims for equality of race, class, gender and age in all its endeavors, recognizing the mistakes of our past have impeded our progress.How do we do this? EventsRocGrowth Candids and RocGrowth Coffee are produced on alternating months.  We record interviews with leading entrepreneurs and presentations by local innovators.ContentWe post recordings made at the events, along with curated blogs from community members.Micro-GrantsWe make modest donations to emerging and innovative non-profits aligned with RocGrowth’s mission and give them exposure to our community.Social MediaWe have a large following on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
