An annual tradition for over 40 years, The Army Band's 2021 end-of-summer concert will be at The National Museum of the U.S. Army! The 1812 Overture Concert highlights special performing ensembles from The U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own" – The U.S. Army Concert Band, Herald Trumpets and Strings, as well as soloists from the Army Voices, Chorus, and Downrange! Not to be missed, we always save the best for last: Tchaikovsky’s inimitable masterpiece featuring the live cannons of The U.S. Army 3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) Presidential Salute Battery! Vehicles with state-issued disability placards or license plates may park in designated parking spaces in the visitor parking lot at the National Army Museum.If you have mobility issues, and require special seating, please let us know this when you reserve your ticket. Limited event parking is available at the Museum and requires a NMUSA Event Parking Pass. Museum parking passes must be reserved when you request your ticket (while supplies last). FREE main event parking is at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Visitors Center: 7500 GEOINT Dr, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 FREE shuttle service will run starting at 6PM prior to show, and will continue until all concert-goers have exited the museum site following the concert. Buses will only be filled to 50% capacity in compliance with current public-health recommendations. YOU MUST WEAR A MASK ON THE BUS ALL patrons over 2YO, regardless of vaccination status, MUST wear a face covering on the shuttle busUnvaccinated patrons are asked to continue to wear a mask throughout the eventPlease dress for HOT weather and STAY HYDRATEDYou may bring food and drink, but NO backpacks/coolers, alcohol, or glass are permitted onto the Museum campusFood and beverages will be available for purchase at the Museum campusThere is no bleacher seating; bring your own lawn chair/blanket to sit on the grassPortable toilets will be available NOTE: Estimated attendance numbers will fall within expected COVID-19 public-health authorizations.
