About New York Adaptive Golf: As many individuals in our Oswego community know, and for those who are not aware, for the past 12 years, Greg Callen has worked endlessly developing Move Along Inc. as a premier non for profit organization focusing on enabling individuals the opportunity to reintegrate into our society using adaptive sports as the platform for engagement. In January of 2021 after many great years of changing the lives of individuals, as well as, their friends and families, Greg made a pivotal decision as founder to resign from the board of Move Along Inc. In twelve years the organization grew from a small group of 5-7 people playing wheelchair basketball, to a large business offering recreational inclusive programming in wheelchair basketball, kayaking, sled hockey, youth wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, horsemanship, handcycling, family aquatics, and Inclusive Sports Education in Schools. With this success, and my intense passion to help others, Greg made the decision to continue using sports as a platform to provide individuals an opportunity to find happiness, involvement, and ultimately a reason to be an active community member. Today, and moving into the future, New York Adaptive Golf will find the means and adaptations a person may need to be involved in the game of golf with their friends and families. To Greg, golf is a life sport, and as he grows older, he knows he can continue this sport into his later years of life with those he loves!
