DPI Adaptive Boxing Clinic (Summer Edition) 10 sessions 90 minutes each focusing on refining your adaptive boxing skill This session will focus on improving Stance/Seated Stance Defense Counterpunching Balance Timing Effective punches Cardiovascular endurance and more as we work towards light sparring with our participants and prepare to register our athletes. Mouth Guards will be provided You must bring your boxing hand wraps or purchase some at DPI ($8) Boxing gloves will be on loan, or bring your own 1st time? please complete this group class waiver with your entry! Class meets every Thursday Starting July 29th and ending September 30th, 2021 DPI Adaptive Fitness is the creator of the program design for the NO Limits Adaptive Fitness program at Medstar National Rehabilitaton Hospital (as seen in the Washington post here in 2017 and here in 2015.Since our very first adaptive client in 2005, working out of the trunk of our car driving all over the DMV to train our clients from 2005-2013, then training out of the basement of our founders home from 2013-2016, to opening a small box of a studio in 2016 leading to the opening of our fully accessible adaptive fitness gym in 2018... our mission has always been to provide aggressive, yet safe and effective adaptive fitness uniquely tailored to each individual and each diagnosis that comes through our doors.​We are results driven...Our focus is to Definitively progress you from your current fitness/functional level by working with your rehab team, doctors, family and ensuring a safe but effective routine.​Whether your goals are improved fitness for function, or working on neural recovery our team will be able to appropriately challenge you to progress.​This is our passion, this is our pride of work...to aggressively but safely push you beyond what you believe you can achieve.
