Description

Pick pieces from the shelves according to qty and item indicated on hand held gun.  Double check the items and pieces physically picked to ensure they match the order that was picked.  Inform the shipping supervisor/manager or leads if any problems with missing items, wrong packaging, misplaced items or any other issues that affect the picking process.  Read the shipping instruction on packing list and check the RED BOOK for special instructions.  Accurately count items for orders  Picker is responsible for each order they picked including request from other areas such as case pack and bulk location.  Must work organized and clean (can’t leave empty boxes on shelves and chipboard boxes must be lined up neatly with item label facing out to ensure that the correct item is being picked)  Scan orders using the RF Scanner for closing and shipping and process orders on computer  Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring workstation and work areas are clean and organized including sweeping and sanitizing  Performs other related duties as required  Enforces the policy of the company
