Description
Meet Peter! Peter is about ten weeks old and now ready for his forever home. He arrived to me at four weeks, far too young, with a stomach and eye infection--he is now fully vaccinated and in perfect health. His coat is a very rare color, a gorgeous, stripy marmalade with what looks like a tie-dye print on his coat. Peter is one of the sweetest cats I've ever met--taking pictures was a challenge because he just wants to be pet and loved! His favorite spot is in my lap, and he sleeps on my pillow every night; he's also the most adventurous and playful of my cats. He's been socialized with other cats--two other Scottish folds, ages one and ten weeks, who he will miss, so a loving home is a must.
Price is definitely negotiable for the right family or owner.
About the breed:
Scottish Folds are quite affectionate and easily adaptable to visitors and new situations. As far as meowing, they are a rather quiet cat breed. Folds can get along quite well with other cats and can get along well with other dogs, provided they are friendly with them. All Scottish Folds are descended from a mouser named Susie, so this breed is quite adept at hunting. The Scottish Fold is quite a playful breed, and enjoys a great game of catch. Shorthaired Scottish Folds are minimal shedders, but long-haired Scottish Folds will shed more. Scottish Folds are mostly a sturdy breed, and have fewer health issues than their reputation has garnered.
