We’re a small remodeling company that prides itself on honesty and quality work. We’re looking for a laborer/carpenter’s assistant who takes pride in their work, is willing to work hard, and wants to learn the trade. Our work ranges from full gut rehabs to small carpentry projects primarily around Boston and the Metro West area. Some of your responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, demo, maintaining a clean and organized job site (and work truck), and assisting lead carpenters as needed. Basically, your job is to make our job easier. We need someone who’s willing to take initiative and doesn’t need babysitting; we want you to learn the trade and grow with us. In order to be considered for this job you must have transportation. Ideally, we want someone with a basic set of hand tools as well; tape measure, utility knife, hammer, tool belt, etc. It’s ok if you don’t have them now, but if you’re an aspiring carpenter, you’ll probably want your own tools. Lastly, the ability to follow directions is important!
