The Nevada HIV Modernization Coalition, with SERO Project, Silver State Equality, & CHLP, is hosting this Town Hall meeting to discuss SB275 Senate Bill 275 was sponsored by Senator Dallas Harris. It was introduced in the Nevada Senate on March 18th, 2021. SB275 also renewed the Advisory Task Force on HIV Exposure Modernization for the next interim. The bill was approved and signed into law on June 6, 2021 at the Henderson Equality Center by Governor Steve Sisolak. There will be a presentation-style discussion that details all of the progress this bill made modernizing Nevada's outdated and harmful HIV-specific laws with a Q&A that follows.
