Each ticket purchased includes one butterfly. Extra butterflies may be added on. You may also purchase butterflies without ticket purchase. Genesis of Richmond is proud to continue The Secret Ingredient & Jeanne Rush’s tradition by holding our first Butterfly Release event. Jeanne started this event in 2006 to honor the memory of her mother and give back to organizations in the community. This year Genesis will partner with Hayes Arboretum to keep that tradition alive. In addition to the butterfly release at Hayes Butterfly Garden, our event will also include a silent auction, live music, wine and light hors d’oeuvres. As an event attendee, you will receive one butterfly in honor of someone special in your life, past or present, or someone who has made a difference in our community. Attending the event will cost $30 per person. Each ticket includes one butterfly. To honor more than one person, pay $15 per honoree in addition to the ticket price. All honoree names will be displayed at the event. Don’t miss this fun opportunity to celebrate special people and also benefit programs at both Genesis (helping survivors of domestic violence) and Hayes Arboretum.
