A family on the UES of Manhattan wants to hire a housekeeper/cook to help care for their home and prepare meals for the family.  Duties include deep cleaning (bathrooms, etc.), daily upkeep, laundry, ironing, household organization, running errands, helping with odds and ends and cooking (must be able to follow recipes). The ideal candidate is hard working, trustworthy, and responsible.  The candidate should be able to communicate well in English both in person and via text/email.  The candidate will need to read recipes in English as well as directions in English.  The candidate should be vaccinated, have excellent references, and have no criminal record.  The job will start immediately in July (the family will be away some dates in late August).  Days/hours can be flexible in July & August but starting on Sept 7th, the job will be M-F (5 days a week) from 12pm-7pm (35 hours a week).  Starting in Sept, the job may also entail occasional help with school pick up in the afternoons.
