This may be a long shot... I'm a seasoned guitarist with a penchant for true reggae, soul and ska from the 60's and 70's. I've played in many bands in the past but not one specifically dedicated to this specific era and genre. I'd like to join or gather a group of players in or around my area to play covers of our favorite tunes for enjoyment and practice first, and potentially club gigs down the line if it all comes together. Lately I've been really into artists such as Desmond Decker, Slim Smith, Melodians, Alton Ellis... and I'd be down to play more of the well known artists of the era in order to win people's ears. Looking for keys, bass, drums, and most importantly a gifted vocalist who can carry the joy and power of classic Jamaican music.
