Join us for an open house to review the plan and provide feedback on the Columbus Area Long-Range Transportation Plan!
The City of Columbus and the Columbus Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) invite the public to attend an Open House as part of the planning process for the Columbus Area Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) Update. The 2045 LRTP a detailed roadmap for how the Columbus Area will plan, build, operate, maintain, and partner for improved mobility in the next 25 years. The LRTP will guide future funding plans and policies needed to move Columbus and Bartholomew County forward for a more mobile, resilient, accessible, and sustainable future.
The Open House will take place at the Evolution Training Center (2670 Verhulst Street, Columbus, IN, 47203). Registration is not required but encouraged. All are welcomed and invited to participate:Thursday, August 5, 2021 5:30 pm – 7:30 pmCommunity input is essential to making sure the Columbus Area LRTP best serves the people of Columbus and the region. The open house will provide an opportunity for the public to review the future scenarios, provide feedback, and use “CAMPO Bucks” to choose which projects you would fund for CAMPO's future.
CAMPO is the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the City of Columbus and Bartholomew County as designated by the Governor of Indiana. CAMPO is responsible for the continuing, cooperative, and comprehensive transportation planning process for the Columbus Metropolitan Planning Area.
