FuMPFest is Chicago's annual funny-music convention. This year we're celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Dr. Demento Show! FuMPFest is Chicago's annual funny-music convention. This year we're celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Dr. Demento Show with Dr. Demento himself! Dr. Demento will be on hand Friday and Saturday signing autographs, presenting his Festival of Dementia, and hosting the 11th annual Logan Whitehurst Memorial Awards for Excellence in Comedy Music. FuMPFest will also feature performances by Bill Larkin, Carla Ulbrich, Steve Goodie, Bad Beth and Beyond, The Gothsicles, Ross Childs, The great Luke Ski, Worm Quartet, Insane Ian, Nuclear Bubble Wrap, Carrie Dahlby, Ian Lockwood, and a special appearance by Sulu from The Dr. Demento Show.
