Single Parent Connection Inc., in partnership with the Men's Ministry of The Blended Church Presents: The Boys to Men 4 Week Workshop Series Purpose: To help young men, ages 12-18, achieve personal development and success as they transition from Boyhood to Manhood When: August 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th from 10:30-12:30pm Where: Week 1 - The Mcdonald Residence Week 2-4 The Blended Church Community Center (2215 Country Club Rd. Indianapolis, IN 46234) Week 1 - August 7th Learning to Fish and Bar-b-Que (This workshop will be held at the Mcdonald residence - Zip Code 46268). The complete address will be shared with registered participants. Week 2 - August 14th Automotive Maintenance: How to complete an oil change, change a flat tire and charge a dead battery Week 3 - August 21st Identifying/Using tools and Electrical/Plumbing safety, how to use a lawnmower Week 4 - August 28th Life Skills - Shaving, preparing for a job interview, how to tie a neck tie, self-respect and respect for others ​ Snacks will be provided during each workshop.
