Upper Elementary Night at the Rescue
Join us as we learn more about Cookie, our neurological rescue goat! Let us tell you her story and her teach us once again how important it to stand back up, no matter how many times you may fall down. Cookie is ready to teach all of us that no matter how hard things seem, how discouraging they get, who may count you out, you have a rescue family that is going to be there to cheer you on.
We will spend time sometime with Cookie and her other special needs farm animal friends. Help feed the rescue animals their dinner. Then we will take some time to talk about what it means to never give up, how important it is to ask for help when you need it and how we can apply that to returning to school.
We will end our night with some messy games that remind us no matter what there is always a reason to laugh and that getting dirty doesn’t change anything.
Safe in Austin Rescue Ranch is a non-profit that rescues animals from abuse, neglect, or have a special need. We then introduce them to children who also come from abuse, neglect, or have special needs to heal along side the animals.
