Androscoggin County Fish and Game Association is happy to offer a safe, supportive and free day of firearms safety training for ages 10-17. Please join us on August 15th, 2021 from 8am -12pm for our Youth Day at the Range. This is a free event, made possible by Gun Owners of Maine and our volunteers here at ACFGA. The event is designed to give kids, ages 10-17 a safe, supportive and structured introduction to firearms safety and the shooting sports, as well as archery. -Please bring hearing and eye protection, and dress appropriately for the day’s activities (hat with a visor, closed toed shoes, no low cut shirts) -Arrive between 7:20-7:45 to check in and sign appropriate paperwork -Learn to safely handle and use air gun, .22 rifle and archery - A parent/guardian MUST be present at all times -All parents/ guardian must fill out a waiver form before youth can participate -All activities will be directly supervised by NRA certified Range Safety Officers
