Spokane Association of REALTORS® Oktoberfest Party/Fundraiser Enjoy an evening of German food by Das Stein Haus. We'll also have a Slient Auction, Door Prizes, Beer Stein Contest, Music & Dancing, Best Dressed German Outfit, Photo Booth & No-host Bar. All proceeds from this event will go to “Beats & Rhythms”. The Silent Auction item that brought in the most money at our Luau on the Bluff was REALTOR® member- Barb Pielli’s donation. Since her item brought in the most money, she was able to pick the charity closest to her heart. My granddaughter was born with a faulty Mitral valve and since she was so small, they could not put in a mechanical valve for children. There was a new technique using a cow’s pulmonary valve that had been in place for about 4 years. The only two doctors in the United States able to perform this operation were at Sacred Heart and Boston. Dr Worrall was one of the Pediatric Surgeons here at Sacred Heart that had done this procedure. Without this surgery, my Granddaughter would not be with us today. My granddaughter will still need at least 3 more open heart surgeries and will be on blood thinners for the rest of her life. However, she is strong and thriving due to Dr. Worrall, Dr. Garabedian, and Dr. Plymale all of whom are Pediatric doctors at Sacred Heart. I chose this foundation for my sweet Cora and the beautiful, strong, little girl that we are so blessed to have in our family. We hope you'll join us!!
