It’s a space where you can let loose and explore with colors, shapes, lines, new techniques and writing all at once. Some journals are more free-form and expressive, others are more of a “finished” art product. ​ What is this one thing you need to know about art journaling? You need to know there are NO RULES! It's for ALL levels. Your art journal is a place for creative expression and it's about enjoying the process. Art Journaling is an easy way to help you connect with your inner artist and awaken your creative gifts! Join us for one of the most forgiving ways to make art! ​ Supply List: • white gesso • black gesso • various acrylic paint colors • various brushes • matte medium • soft gel medium • various papers or pictures • an art journal with mixed media paper (like the Canson 7x10 mixed media pad or the Strathmore 5.5x8.5 mixed media pad) Cappie will have some extra "stuff" you can use in the workshop for a small fee.
