Workshop co-sponsored by Fremont Area Child Care Association Children are naturally curious creatures and STEM activities are a hot trend currently. This workshop will provide lots of examples and several hands-on take-home activities so you can hit the ground running with STEM activities in your program. We will learn more about STEM concepts and how you can enhance them in your child care setting.  Identify and define what STEM is.  Identify what STEM learning can do to develop young children's learning skills and how adults can support STEM learning.  Share ways participants can use the Nebraska Early Learning Guidelines to share with parents concepts that children learn during STEM activities.
