Join us to celebrate the Nebraska Innovation Studio Grand Reopening on Thursday, September 16 from 3:30 - 7:00 p.m. Nebraska Innovation Studio has come a long way since it first opened its doors in 2015. In the most recent expansion, the studio added a full metal shop, larger wood shop and a classroom to fill the needs of its members. This added to the already existing textiles, ceramics, rapid prototyping, software, printmaking and electronics areas. At this open house, you will have a chance to: Tour the finished makerspaceCheck out new equipment Watch live demonstrations Meet the staffBecome a memberEnjoy refreshments Please register by September 10. This event is free and open to the public. It will take place at 2021 Transformation Drive, Suite 1500, Entrance B. Parking is available in the paved lot located north of Transformation Drive. Nebraska Innovation Studio is a makerspace where creators of all sorts can innovate, collaborate, and fabricate. For a monthly membership fee, the studio is available to community members, faculty, staff and students. Studio members have access a 16,000-square-foot facility with a full metal shop, wood shop, rapid prototyping room, art studio, ceramics and textiles equipment, and more.
