Amarillo Wesley Community Center’s (AWCC) is celebrating 70 years of service! In honor of Amarillo Wesley Community Center’s (AWCC) 70 years of service, our annual Una Gran Cena fundraising event has been scheduled on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the Wesley gymnasium (1615 S. Roberts St.) starting at 6:00 p.m. We are taking it back to where it originally started! Our goal is to raise over $70,000 at this event in order to continue services for families in need. Thanks to your continued support, you have made it possible to provide low-cost quality child-care to enable parents to work, free senior citizen services, after school and summer camp program, youth modeling and mentoring, competitive wrestling, and low cost or free counseling and play therapy services. In celebration of our 70 years of service, we are honored to show you all our first biography video at the event produced by Martin Gallegos. We will kick off the event with Mariachis and a delicious dinner. Entertainment will be provided by dancers from Al Son del Folklor and Moonlighting Dj’s! It’s going to be a FIESTA, so put your party pants on! Due to being in the Wesley Gymnasium, we have limited seating. So, be sure to RSVP ASAP if you would like to attend.
