Wood burning Artist promoting Indigenous Cultural awareness through art. As a pyrography artist for several years, Jeanette incorporates acquired artistic skills into creating one of a kind pieces to tell a story. Primary focus on Native American art and more specifically the Indigenous Taino culture of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. We utilize salvaged wood, primarily Cedar, processing as much of the wood as possible to create a variety of sizes and multiple uses for the art. We enjoy teaching people the art of wood burning as a means of relaxation and self-expression. We encourage entrepreneurship, responsible resource management, female empowerment and self-confidence.
