A Dose of Laughter is an evening of laughter and celebration in support of the nurse community, HOLLIBLU. IN SUPPORT OF HOLLIBLU HOLLIBLU was founded on the belief that an empowered nurse can transform healthcare. With over 3M+ licensed nurses in the United States, HOLLIBLU is committed to supporting our nurse community and creating a space where nurses can thrive. We are a nurse-founded and nurse-focused movement designed to change the way nurses receive information, peer support, and network through our state-of-the-art technology. Throughout the pandemic, burnout within the nurse community has been at an all-time high. Now, more than ever, nurses need your support. The hilarious, headlining comedian was a regular on SNL and went on to create, produce and host the critically acclaimed hit ‘Last Comic Standing’. A talented actor, Jay has starred in many movies (Jerry McGuire, Suicide Kings, Pitch Perfect, Hereafter); hosted several radio shows including his own show Mohr Sports for the Fox Network, appeared in numerous TV shows (The West Wing, Scrubs). He currently hosts his popular podcast Mohr Stories on his own network, Fake Mustache Studios and is performing comedy shows around the country. Jay kindly donated his time to the HOLLIBLU Gala by saying “please don’t thank me for doing the right thing.” Big talent, big laughs and a big philanthropic attitude. MAX AMINI An established world class comedian who has tirelessly performed sold out shows and touring the world for the past 10 years. Max is also an accomplished writer (Authentically Absurd, Minutes With Max Amini,) Screenwriter (James The Second Feature Film), director of the Netflix special for Enissa Amani and the highly anticipated TV series ‘Diaspora’. He is an accomplished Producer and Actor of Film & Television (Beyond Paradise & NBC’s Heroes, Comedy Central’s Mind Of Mencia, Netflix’s Real Rob). Max also performs for charities whenever he can and eagerly agreed to perform for Holliblu to “make a difference for humanity and give back to all healthcare workers as they give to us.” DARRELL HAMMOND A critically acclaimed as a master of comedy and is untouchable at his skillful impersonations. He is a Saturday Night Live legend known for his many masterful (107) impersonations. (Bill Clinton/Sean Connery/Trump & John Travolta). He is also an acclaimed actor. He is a best-selling author, has a documentary on Netflix called 'Cracked Up-The Darrell Hammond Story' documenting his life, and has a popular podcast called The Third Person. Darrell is a keen supporter of charitable causes and we are thrilled to have him support HOLLIBLU. JOHN DI DOMENICO Recently stole the show as Trump on the Fox smash hit sketch show ‘Let’s Be Real’. He has appeared on Conan, is a regular on The Howard Stern Show, Chelsea, James Corden and headlined in Totally Outrageous at the Sahara, Las Vegas. John is an outstanding consummate professional, who despite his immense schedule agreed to travel from Las Vegas for this special night. “I wouldn’t miss it for the world- we need to build a wall of support around HOLLIBLU." JIMMY SHIN A Los Angeles-based Producer/Actor/Comedian. He is in demand as a headlining comedian as well as the Producer of the best comedy shows in Los Angeles and the country. His ‘Shindig Show’ delivers an A-List cast of renown comics and sells out weekly. He is also a talented actor and has appeared on HBO Series Luck and in the movie Silencer. His critically acclaimed comedy special on Amazon Prime Video ‘Wok of Shame’ elevated Jimmy to much deserved respected status. Jimmy also encourages new comics and mentors them as well as teaching students. Jimmy is currently touring the country on his Wok of Shame Tour. His energy and big heart match the guaranteed laughs he delivers every time he steps onto the stage, often to support a charitable cause such as this one. GREG BALDWIN A comedian/actor and the host of the popular Second Chances Podcast, which he co-hosts with Jimmy Shin. Greg has been performing regularly at the Comedy Store, Improv Comedy Clubs, and various other venues with some of the biggest comedians in the business. He is also a seasoned actor. His huge heart and philanthropist attitude has garnered him the nickname “the nicest man in comedy” amongst some fellow comics. Greg rescheduled his vacation to support the HOLLIBLU Gala. EUGENIA KUZMINA A Russian born international model, (Glamour/L’oréal) actor in A List movies & TV shows (Bad Moms, New Girl) and a talented comedian with a passion for creating hilarious characters. She has gained a fan base and critical acclaim for her dead on dry and hilarious impression of Melania Trump. She has often performed alongside John Di Domenico as Trump, recently at a sold out show in Las Vegas. Eugenia also performs live stand up shows around the country as herself and these unique hilarious characters. She also hosts a podcast, writes & produces and is always on hand to support charitable events, to which she brings her kindness, support and talent, and does it always looking flawless! CHRISTINE PEAKE Our host, Christine Peake is a writer/publicist who has exploded onto the comedy circuit performing with A List comedians Bill Burr, Iliza Schlesinger, Tom Arnold, Jay Mohr & Darrell Hammond at sold out shows. She Has produced sold out comedy shows in Las Vegas & Los Angeles with her partner BlackoutLa. She is a regular staple on stage with leading comic/producer Jimmy Shin. Her biting take on current affairs and ‘taking no prisoners’ approach has quickly earned her the comparison ‘The British Joan Rivers’. The HOLLIBLU Gala was Christine’s idea and she rallied her comedic pals to support this wonderful evening.
