In this class we will teach you the basic skills you need to create a custom 8 X 10 frame. Instructor: Anthony Gaskins Summary: In this class we will teach you the basic skills you need to create a custom 8 X 10 frame. Description: Students will learn shop safety and proper use of table saw and band saw. Students will learn how to choose wood stock and cut and assemble an 8 X 10 acrylic and wood frame. Proper finishing will be demonstrated and covered, however due to time constraints students will need to complete finishing on their own. Please bring in a photo/art sized to 8x10. All other tools and materials will be provided. About the Instructor: Anthony Gaskins is an Atlanta wood worker and sculpture artist and shop manager with MASS Collective. They have a BFA in Printmaking and Book Arts from The University of Georgia. They own and operate Pitter Patter, a small custom fabrication company that creates beautiful custom pieces and signature designs. FAQs Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? What is the refund policy? We will refund any ticket requested for any reason up to a week before the course runs, after that point we can only give credit to a future course. If the class cannot run as scheduled, for whatever reason, purchaser will have the option of a full refund or credit towards the makeup course. Courses must sell a minimum of three tickets to run. If a course cannot sell three tickets, the students who have signed up will have the option to (a) reschedule or (b) receive a full refund.
