ASIST is a two-day workshop featuring powerful audiovisuals, discussions, and simulations. Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is for everyone regardless of prior experience who wants to be able to provide suicide first aid. Shown by major studies to significantly reduce suicidality, the ASIST model teaches effective intervention skills while helping to build suicide prevention networks in the community. We are here for you. All day, every day. At the Helpline Center, we believe everyone deserves help when they need simple answers, community connections or hope during difficult times. The Helpline Center’s mission is “making lives? better by giving support, offering hope and creating connections all day, every day.” Our core services include: 211 Helpline, Suicide & Crisis Support, and Volunteer Connections.
