Medicaid Expansion: What You Should Know Break*Down educational luncheon by PCRW seeks to: break down political issues, give you the raw facts, cover hot topics, provide excellent speakers and give monthly congressional updates. All are welcome! The Pennington County Republican Women will host Mike Sylvester from Americans for Prosperity who will discuss Medicaid Expansion: Waste, Fraud, and Abuse, during their monthly meeting on Thursday, Aug. 19 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the second-floor ballroom of the Alex Johnson Hotel in downtown Rapid City. Medicaid Expansion will be on the ballot in November 2022. Sylvester will speak about the health impacts and fiscal consequences of expanding Medicaid in South Dakota. The program begins with a buffet luncheon at 11:30 a.m., and will last until 1:00 p.m. The fee to attend with lunch is $20 with pre-registration before Aug. 16, or $25 at the door. Guests may also attend without lunch for only $5.
