Attend an information session to learn more about the year-long Prevent T2 program.
During the year-long Prevent T2 program, you will work with trained lifestyle coaches and interact with other participants to learn the skills you need to make lasting changes to prevent or delay the onset of type 2 diabetes.
Over the course of a year, you will have the opportunity to learn healthy eating habits, ways to include physical activity into your life, stress management tips, ways to stay motivated, and problem-solving skills to help you maintain positive changes.
Registration is required. Program participants should be at least 18 years old, have a BMI of 25 or greater, have a prediabetes blood test and not pregnant. Please check with your insurance provider to see if the cost of PreventT2 is covered.
Our next year-long Prevent T2: Diabetes Prevention Program begins on Tuesday, September 14, from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Prevent T2 begins with weekly meetings for the first six months and changes to monthly meetings for the last 6 months.
